Simon qualified as a dentist from UCH in London in 1991. He followed this with a few associate positions in the South East where he developed his passion for restorative dentistry, with a particular focus on endodontics. Returning to Sussex where he grew up, Simon has built Cuckfield Dental into the busy family practice it is today and is proud that it serves the local community.
Committed to postgraduate training and education in order to provide the best service to his patients, Simon now has three restorative postgraduate qualifications (including two from the Royal College of Surgeons) and also a Masters in Law, which supports his expertise in dento-legal work. His advanced skills in endodontics allow him to manage even the most complex root canal treatments with precision and care. He provides this treatment on referral from other dentists, always prioritising patient comfort.
Simon has extensive experience mentoring and teaching young graduate dentists and previously oversaw Foundation Training in the Sussex region. He now acts as expert witness in dental legal cases on behalf of the General Dental Council and professional indemnity organisation.
Outside dentistry, Simon can regularly found on his race bike or enjoying clay shooting.
